Akmal Kh. Saidov was born on October 11, 1958 in Zangiota district of the Tashkent region.

Education - higher.

In 1981 graduated with honours from the Department of Law of the Tashkent State University.

In 1984 defended the Candidate’s Dissertation.

In 1990 defended the Doctoral Dissertation.

During 1992-1993 worked as the Director of the Institute on World Issues under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During 1993 to 1994 served as the Rector of the Tashkent State Institute of Law.

From 1994 to 1996 was the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to France and Resident Representative of Uzbekistan to UNESCO.

Since October 1996 acts as the Director of the National Human Rights Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During 1997-1998 worked as the Director of the Public Centre “Ijtimoiy Fikr” (Social opinion).

Since 1997 is the Deputy of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Since 2000 up to present is the Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Committee on democratic institutions, non-government organizations and citizens’ self-governance bodies.

Akmal Kh. Saidov has more than 300 publications and books in the field of human rights, theory and history of statesmanship and law, international, comparative, constitutional and Islamic law published in the US, UK, Austria, France, India, Japan, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Russia, China, Korea and other countries.

Professor Akmal Kh. Saidov since 1991 is a member of the International Association of Jurists of Asia and the Pacific region, since 1990 foreign member of the Society of comparative legislation of France and Chairman of the National Commission of International Association of Jurisprudence and President of the National Commission of International Academy of Comparative Law, since 1999 of the Russian Association of international law, since 2001 visiting professor of the University of Paris -1-Sorbonne.

Akmal Kh. Saidov takes active part in activities of international forums, strengthened cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the United Nations, international convention bodies considering reports of the country on implementation of commitments in the field of human rights and freedoms, and such European institutions as the EU, OSCE, ODIHR OSCE and other international organizations.

In 1998 awarded the national badge of Uzbekistan, in 2002 - orderMehnat Shuhrati (Labour Glory)”, in 2006 “Do’stlik (Friendship)”.

Mr. Akhmad ISMAILOV

Akhmad Ismailov was born on October 30, 1956 in Egizbuloq village, Farish district of the Djizakh region.       

In 1973 graduated with gold medal from the school №15 named after Mukimiy, Farish district of the Djizakh region.

In 1975 entered the Department of Law of the Tashkent State University and in 1980 graduated with honours.          

He started his professional career at the National Human Rights Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 1999 as a Chief Consultant, then Head of Department and since 2005 acts as the Deputy Director of the National Human Rights Centre.           

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 2002 awarded the order “Shuhrat (Glory)”.

In 2006 awarded a badge “15th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, in 2011 a badge “20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
