In the Ichan Kala complex, they became familiar with the Uzbek people’s unique traditions, rich history, and centuries-old cultural heritage. The guests also visited exhibitions of national dishes of Khorezm region, products of folk and applied arts, and folk songs and dances.

“The anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union was organized at a very high level”, says Martin Chungong. “We became familiar with opportunities created for young people and once again were convinced that Uzbekistan has many talents. We were particularly impressed by the culture, traditions, customs, and national costumes.  Khiva is an amazingly colorful city. Even simple walks along it transport you to the fabulous atmosphere of the ancient East. The trip left many vivid impressions”.
