The Astana International Forum – AIF 2025 is taking place in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

AIF 2025 has brought together nearly 600 foreign guests, including leading politicians, representatives of international organizations, corporations, investors, and the academic community.

The forum’s program covers the main challenges of our time. A plenary session and 25 dialogue platforms based on discussions and debates have been organized as part of the event.

At the opening ceremony yesterday, participants included President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Presidents of Rwanda and North Macedonia, prime ministers and deputy prime ministers of other countries, and representatives of international organizations.

Journalists from leading news agencies, television channels, and other media outlets from more than 70 countries are providing direct coverage of the forum’s proceedings.

Today, the forum continues its work. The Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, participated alongside Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in a special forum session.

The Italian Prime Minister delivered a speech on the current geopolitical situation and regional cooperation.

Today, the arrival of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is expected in Astana.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the high-level summit in the “Central Asia – Italy” format, which will take place on May 30 in Astana.

Today, Astana has become a vital dialogue platform where discussions on global issues such as foreign policy and international security, energy and climate change, and the economy and finance are actively continuing.
